Let’s take a moment and imagine…
What possibilities await you when you create space to tend your self?
Here you have found holistic coaching that supports you as you cultivate and tend to your health and wellbeing.
“I was struggling with resistance to commitments and the demands put on my time, resulting in the constant feeling of being chased and overwhelmed.
Dara’s approach by using her clinical skills combined with her intuition and mindfulness are a perfect combination. Her kind and loving personality create a warm and welcoming environment. Her ability to listen neutrally with compassion makes it easy to talk about one’s issues. Dara’s attitude was always positive and up-lifting. Her responses/suggestions were clear and professional.
Under Dara’s guidance, I have learned to embrace my personal rhythms, let go of striving, and shift my relationship to commitments.”
Holistic coaching invites you into a co-creative relationship that prioritizes you throughout your transformation process.
What do you want to grow in your life? In your health?
Are you feeling overwhelmed or stretched too thin?
Is there a habit you want to cultivate? Or weed out?
What risk would you take or leap would you make if fear didn’t get in the way?
When you tune into your body, what sensations are present?
Where do you feel stuck in a rut?
Do you have a health concern that you could use support navigating?
How do you find clarity and inner guidance amidst the noise of the world around you?
In our coaching relationship, we work together to clarify a goal or intention that is most important to you right now. In each session, we notice what’s working and not working. We celebrate success and stay curious alongside challenges and stuck spots. We identify the next right step and create a clear plan to move forward and take action.
Uncomfortable feelings and sensations inevitably arise in the face of change. To the extent that you are comfortable, we may notice and engage with these sensations so that they feel more familiar and easier to experience. By inviting the body into the transformation process, change can occur from the inside out.
“Before the coaching sessions I was trying to cultivate healthier habits aimed at enhancing both my mental and physical well-being. The coaching sessions played a pivotal role in helping me prioritize these habits, establish clear goals, reflect on my progress, and dedicate more time to self-care. I truly appreciated the opportunity to work with you. You have a conversational style that makes it easy to communicate, and your active listening skills create a supportive atmosphere. Your insightful questions encouraged me to reflect on aspects of my life that I often overlook and don’t take time to really think about. What I valued most about our coaching sessions was the way you guided me to explore my thoughts and feelings deeply, helping me gain clarity and perspective. Your approach has made a significant impact on my personal growth”
-
Simply arrive with curiosity about the coaching process and/or a specific issue on your mind. We will engage in a 45 minute coaching session so you can experience holistic coaching for yourself.
-
If holistic coaching feels like the right fit for you, we will decide how often you’d like to meet. To maintain momentum, it’s best to meet between 2-4 times monthly.
-
For new clients, our first session will be 2 hours long. This gives us time to dive deeply into all areas of your health and life. It lays an important foundation for our work together.
-
We consider your long-term goal or desire and also the smaller steps along the way that will lead you there. Together we can determine an initial priority that serves as our place to begin the journey.
-
This is the heart of co-creation in the coaching relationship.
In coaching, inquiry is the intervention.
As your coach and with your permission…
I ask questions that evoke curiosity and sometimes challenge long-held beliefs or offer a different way of viewing a situation.
I may reflect back what you’re saying so you can hear your thoughts in a different way.
I may invite you to carefully track physical sensations so that we can engage your body in the process of change; this can be helpful with unlocking “stuck” areas.
-
Towards the end of each session, you will be invited to name an action step that moves you in the direction of what you want to create.
We will work together to visualize the details, feasibility, and support you need to take this action.
-
After our session, this is your time to try out the action step we identified.
-
When your action-taking experiment goes well, we celebrate! And if you encounter challenges, we get curious because that offers us valuable feedback. Challenges can offer profound insights.
-
As we come to the end of our 3 months together, we will take in the full scope of where you were at the beginning compared to where you are now. We will also explore where you might want to go next.
A walk through our process…
The best way to try out holistic coaching is through a free exploratory session.

Hi! I'm Dara Suchke
I want to support you as you tend your self - across the spectrum of how one's self might be tended. I like to imagine you as a gardener of your self. In the same way a garden contains its own ecosystem, so do you. Your ecology is comprised of a multitude of identities, energies, emotions, commitments, desires, and challenges, to name just a handful of your elements.
As a holistic coach, I bring together an array of my studies, interests, and practices under the developing ecosystem of Tend Your Self.
I have been a registered nurse since January 2021. I’ve primarily worked in medical-surgical and psychiatric nursing settings. In 2025, I completed a training program to become a board-certified nurse coach (BC-NC). To keep things simple, I have decided to keep my work as a holistic coach separate from my work as a registered nurse (read here for more details). Prior to nursing, I worked as a gardener and also spent several years teaching English to international students at Georgia State University.
